Do you offer Returns?
Unfortunately, due to the very delicate nature of my business I do not accept returns. I have gone out of my way with painstaking detail to ensure I can offer you topnotch professional products, prints, and original artwork. I package my items in a very delicate and calculated manner, where eco friendly packaging is my major concern. These items are not meant to be shipped back and forth.
However, IF your purchase is damaged during shipping, please contact me within 48 hours of its arrival to your destination. Email me at AjaxAtlasArt@gmail.com. We will work to remedy the situation very quickly. You may need to contact the shipping company to file a claim. But either way, I will work quickly to ensure you have what you ordered. I truly want you to be a satisfied happy customer.
Shipping:
How do you ship your products and prints?
I go to great lengths to ship your order in a very eco friendly manner! Sometimes this means I incur additional expenses on my end. But for me, it is worth it.
1.) I ship your order in easily recyclable brown or white boxes or envelopes
2.) I use curbside fully recyclable inkless printing labels which you can leave attached to your box or envelope
3.) If I stamp your box or envelope, I use soy based ink or a pomegranate ink (pomegranate and thyme boiled in water!!). Crazy, right?!
4.) I use glassine paper to protect your art prints, as this is fully recyclable yet it fully protects your delicate prints.
5.) I use easily recyclable brown tissue paper to wrap your products in inside your box.
6.) If you find a sticker on your box or envelope, it is a recyclable custom sticker I designed myself. The paper is easily recyclable, and the adhesive is non toxic. I am still working on either eliminating stickers altogether or waiting for an even better solution.
7.) I use custom designed (by me!) water activated Kraft brown shipping tape! This can stay on your box as it is fully curbside recyclable.
8.) I do not use plastic alternatives, as I feel they are almost as bad as plastic! They have been marketed to make us believe they are safe, but thats not entirely true. Most people claim their “eco friendly” plastic bag is compostable. This may be true at large commercial facilities, most people like you and I do not have access to these facilities. Therefore, the “eco friendly” plastic just ends up in the landfill. Not a good solution by any means.
9.) If you see peanuts in your order for any reason, they are non toxic starch peanuts that dissolve in water. I am simply reusing them from orders I personally have received.
Where do you ship your artwork and products?
I can technically ship them anywhere in the world. However, due to Covid-19 I am actively shipping my products to the USA, Canada, and Mexico. I can easily ship to the UK and Europe. Please message me for a shipping quote, as it should be in the $25 USD to $75 USD (for the largest prints) depending on what you are purchasing and its weight. Tatooing:
Will you design my tattoo?
At this time, I do not accept commissions for custom tattoo designs. I’m not a trained tattoo artist, nor do I know the logistics involved with the art of tatooing. You’ll have a better experience if you work directly with a tattoo artist to design your tattoo.
CAN I GET A TATTOO OF ONE OF YOUR DRAWINGS?
If you would like to use one of my existing drawings as a tattoo, I ask that:
You ask permission for the use of a specific image BEFORE getting it as a tattoo. Contact me by sending me an email at AjaxAtlasArt@gmail.com. I do not read Instagram DMs.
You find a tattoo artist who is excited to work from the artwork.
Once I give you the go ahead to use an image as tattoo reference, and you have an appointment to get the tattoo, I ask that you pay a flat fee for image use. At the time of this writing I usually charge $200, but that fee is subject to change and may be larger for especially complex drawings. Otherwise, this is considered “Copyright Infringement”. I have poured my heart and soul into each artwork I create. It would crush me to find my artwork stolen for other purposes without my legal consent.
I’M A TATTOO ARTIST AND A CLIENT WANTS TO GET ONE OF YOUR artworks TATTOOED! IS THAT OK?
Please make sure the client has received my permission to use the artwork as a tattoo. If you post images of a tattoo made from one my drawings or paintings, it would be ideal if you include something like “copied with permission from a drawing by @Ajax Atlas” in the caption.
I’M A TATTOO ARTIST! CAN I ADD YOUR Artwork TO MY FLASH SHEET?
No, please do not add my artwork to your flash sheets. I have heard of this happening a number of times without the Artist’s permission or any offer of compensation. I will ask for payment from Artists and/or studios after the fact if I learn that my drawings have been used without my consent. That is only fair. It is critical to understand that my blood, sweat, and tears went into my design and creation of my original artwork.
It’s a huge compliment when someone wants to put your Artwork on their body forever, Aren’t the good vibes and free advertising enough?
Yes, it would be an honor. However, if you have such a strong connection with an artwork that you want to permanently put it on your body, you should in turn respect that Artist enough to compensate them for their own creation! Otherwise you are stealing an Artist’s image. Appreciation does not pay rent, unfortunately.
