The Ajax Atlas Process

My personalized 7 step “Art Creation Process”…

1.) Conceptualize an idea for an upcoming work of art.

2.) Decide where the best and most realistic location in the World is to study these animals.

3.) Research- spend 2 weeks to 3 months on location, painstakingly researching and photographing these animals and places.

4.) Inspiration- I come home incredibly inspired with lots of ideas and photographs to sort through and organize.

5.) Organization- once the thousands of photos and ideas have finally been organized, I begin to work out and finalize ideas for paintings through many sketches and designs.

6.) Creation- I finally begin to CREATE either on canvas, linen, aluminum, or paper! This is where the magic begins to happen!

7.) Sharing- the final artwork is posted on social media and makes its way to a show, gallery, or conservation cause!
